Daylight and the only thing I see is
The trees anyway they’re so regular
Taking a breather like an old carpet
Can’t even spot the rectangular fields
They’re too busy counting sheep with their eyes
Breaking away from the fence one by one
So where are they running off to again
Nowhere since that’s the thing with these landscapes
They’re always so incomplete that it stops
And now I’m here just staring at a wall
